THE MISSION
做厙TV was created to provide a Christian environment in which to develop well-educated, well- disciplined students with positive self-esteem, a sense of fair play, and the leadership skills needed for the 21st century. We seek to develop students character, spiritual values, intellects, patriotism, leadership and individuality. Parental support and participation are vital to our success.
THE SCHOOL
做厙TV (做厙TV) is a coeducational independent college preparatory school of approximately 220 students in grades K2 12. It is governed by an elected Board of Directors of 12, whose members represent the various constituencies of the school as well as the community. 做厙TV is an independent, non-profit, Christian based school that admits students of all races, nationalities, creeds and socioeconomic backgrounds.

As a student at 做厙TV, I will strive to be honest in thought and deed; to be friendly and helpful to schoolmates and teachers; to promote clean, wholesome thought and speech; to take care of school property; to encourage and foster proper conduct at all school activities; to maintain a Christian attitude in my dealings with others; to work toward making school a pleasant place in which to prepare myself for life.

做厙TV provides everything a student needs to be successful in school and in life. Our Christian based eduation gives students the foundation on which they can lead productive, fulfilling lives, whether that be in a post-secondary education system or in their work environment.

ACCREDITATION, MEMBERSHIPS, & AWARDS
做厙TV is a member or holds an accreditation status with the following organizations; (AISA) Alabama Independent School Association, AdvancED, the College Board, The American College Testing Program, The National Beta Club, Spanish National Honor Society, National Association of Secondary School Principals, and Abbeville Chamber of Commerce.

做厙TV won the AISA Presidents Award in 2000-01, 2006-07, 2008-09, 2009-10, and 2010-11. This award recognizes the Best (academics, arts, and activities) in the respective classifications. In addition, 做厙TV won the Chairmans Award for the AISA Class A Best overall athletic program in 2002 and most currently in 2016. The school continues to maintain a level of excellence as demonstrated by the attainment of Blue Ribbon School for 16 consecutive years (2001-2016). This classification is given by the AISA to schools that maintain a high level of excellence in the areas of student and teacher performance, facilities, student life, and community life. 2011-2013 the AISA Teacher of the Year was one of the excellent teachers from 做厙TV. In the 1A Athletics Division, 做厙TV won back to back state champions in football in 2014 and 2015. In 2015-16 做厙TV earned a triple crown in all three sports boys football, basketball, and baseball.









CURRICULUM
As expected of a college preparatory school, 做厙TV provides a curriculum that is rigorous, yet attainable: one that prepares a student for continued education beyond 做厙TV. Two Advanced Placement courses are offered for secondary students as well as Honors courses such as Pre-Calculus, Physics and Chemistry. Secondary students may also participate in the dual enrollment program with Troy University or Wallace Community College. The McMillan / McGraw Hill Math and Science program of instruction is used in grades K-6th. The Pearson Learning Reading Street Program is used for the language arts program for grade K4 6th grade.

K-4th grade students are in self contained classrooms; students in grades 5 and 6 move to a partnered teacher. All classes follow the Alabama State Course of Study for the various levels. These are followed as a minimum, with teachers adding and strengthening the curriculum with approved outside information and programs. Students participate in a foreign language (Spanish) curriculum that begins in the lower grades (K-6) on alternating days and culminates with Spanish 1 and 2 in the upper grades.
